This two-day private tour connects two of the most important sanctuaries of the ancient Greek world: Olympia and Delphi.

The itinerary combines the birthplace of the Olympic Games with the spiritual center of antiquity, offering historical depth, archaeological exploration, and scenic drives across mainland Greece. The trip is well-planned and takes place over two days, with a mix of cultural exploration, relaxing travel, and an overnight stay in Olympia.

You can be picked up and dropped off at your hotel or any other place you choose in Athens.

Day 1 - Olympia

Morning: Corinth Canal

  • Pick-up at your hotel or another place of your choice
  • Drive toward the Peloponnese Peninsula.
  • Visit the Corinth Canal, a famous piece of engineering from the late 1800s.
  • Time for a short break and some pictures

Midday: Arrival in Olympia

  • Arrival in Olympia
  • Lunch in the area

Archaeological Museum of Olympia

  • Visit to the museum
  • Viewing of significant exhibits, including the statue of Hermes

Evening

  • Overnight stay in Olympia

Day 2 - Delphi & Central Greece

Morning: Nafpaktos

  • Departure from Olympia
  • Stop in the seaside town of Nafpaktos
  • Lunch break in the area

Afternoon: Delphi

  • Arrival at Delphi, regarded in antiquity as the “navel of the world”
  • Visit to the Sanctuary of Apollo
  • Exploration of the Temple of Apollo, the Castalian Spring, the Temple of Athena Pronaia, the ancient theatre, and the stadium
  • Overview of the role of the Oracle and the Pythia in shaping political decisions across the Greek world

Delphi Archaeological Museum

  • Visit to the museum
  • Viewing of key exhibits, including the Statue of Antinous and the bronze Charioteer of Delphi

Return

  • Stop at Arachova, a picturesque mountain village
  • Return drive to Athens
  • Drop-off at your hotel or preferred location
